I think there were numerous factors in the Suh signing.
1. The could get him and had the cap space.
2. He is a great player, not good great
3. Can’t count on AD playing so need to hedge our bets
4. If everyone plays we are totally scary up front. If no AD we are still really good.
I love the Suh signing whether we have AD or not but if AD doesn’t show up it makes this signing a necessity.
