The numbers SHOULD be up, thanks to what networks dish out and how much football is on TV. It used to be just Sunday and MNF. Now? We have Sunday, Sunday Night , MNF, Thursday Night Football and even Saturday games late in the year. More n more die hards and even people WITHIN the NFL circle say it's too much Yes, mostly for health reasons. But let's face it....MNF has a tenth of the spark it used to. Yes, numbers are up, financially but there is no denying that fan loyalty and concern for the NFL is NOTHING like it used to be 20-30 years ago. If the NFL keeps on the same path, you can bet the $$$$ will start a downward swing. I am just one fan and I cannot spend my money on it like I used to. I REALLY want to but the NFL has made it not possible. I know I am not alone.
