I concur here, seems most of the big runs were with Smart at NT, which is why I always preferred Tyrun Walker being in the game, yes Sebastian Joseph-Day will beat out Smart and offers far more upside in the long term IMO as well.
I dunno, starting as a rookie might have been too much for Smart, and they didn't retain Walker. I think that NT is just a huge question mark (behind Suh) but they seemed to be interested in continuing with Smart and obviously they drafted Day, so, maybe they think they have a player.
