I foundthet comment. Olgetree And Quinn were deemed expendable and Barron was not a pretty convenient assumption when Barron is a player who was not healthy at the end of year.He has a problem playing in certain schemes and may have been a risk salary wise due to those issues besides the fact they basically created a new age LB with him and Buchanan in Arizona th sat won't play out well in most NFL defences.
He started as replacement LB weakside but they are pressing their luck with him inside we know that.
He should get credit fir toughness yes but I hope the Rams don't have another situation at the end of the year were they are playing him hurt.
I don't think the 31 other GMs were ever going to try to acquire him him trade for those reason
Just because he's still here he wasn't less expendable.
They are going to need guys like Littleton. And Kiser and maybe the FA from Indiana to be ready to play if or when Barron breaks down.
I actually think Barrons back up s are just as important as he is,maybe more.
Kinda like whoever played behind Bob Sanders with the Colts when he was a IR move waiting To happen.
Barron has been good but we definitely Need to make this a transitional year and lofts ups snaps for Kiser and others.
The need to ready as starters if they have to play post season.
That's the feature story they probably don't want to write just yet of course.
