Sorry, I don’t see that.
On top of that, there are guys who watch every snap of every game. They are mostly FF guys. And they have him ranked low.
I don't have Garoppolo envy. I do know that he was a Bellichick product traded to a team that traditionally gets a lot of press coverage and is coached by the experienced whiz kid coach who had driven the Atlanta offense to the superbowl the year before.
So be it.
And please think hard about whether nationals cared about or watched Goff except in the playoffs or against the Vikes or Eagles.

I made a specific point. Please think hard about it.
Many guys who do FF watch every snap, and all they care about is getting their ranking correct. They look at Goff's numbers and downplay them and they look at JimmyG's numbers and overplay them.
I hear them all the time cause I am heavy into FF. They think Goff was a product of McVay's system and they held it against Goff that McVay was talking in his headset right up to the last second. Some of these guys like Mike Salfino of the WSJ accused the Rams of cheating. Thats my specific point.
You just didn;'t hear my argument. I can repeat it I suppose. But no one is "evading" anything, We just see this differently.
Ask WHY they don't pay attention to overall numbers.
Start with the playoffs and then look at their 5 most challenging games.
So either we personalize it and attribute to them some kind of blindness that is in fact really just our own projected frustration at them.
OR there's a reasonable explanation for why IN SPITE OF THE NUMBERS many analysts aren't that confident in Goff yet. (Though they're also not trashing him.) Which is the view I take,
I can acknowledge that that's a reasonable response on their part while
also being confident that a more seasoned offense and a more seasoned Goff will be consistently better in games like that. We know more about Goff than they do. So we know that. They don't yet. That's just par for the course.
