I give it near zero percent chance that the Rams resign Barwin, for instance. Even at vets minimum he's twice the cost of a young late draft pick. Same goes for Oline. Every couple of hundred thousand they can save matters. So where the Rams see a rookie or 2nd year guy as able to develop, they're going to keep him over a more expensive vet, even if the money isn't millions in difference.

It's just cap space management and the Rams have just under $3mil according to over the cap. And I think that's before they sign their rookies. So something's gotta give.
