That's what happens when you have incompetent coaching and then change coaching staffs.

Foundational pieces for one coach may not fit for another coach. Ogletree and Alexander are examples of this. .

Williams was a more than competent defensive coach.

And yes changing coaches and systems has a direct effect on some players who no longer are fits, as was absolutely the case with Alexander.
