ILB that excel in run defense are devalued in the NFL right now. Coverage skills have more value. He's a two down player and that's not gonna have a high value. That's the epitome of a late round pick right?
I remember around January or so when I started tuning in to what you, Deadpool, and other drafting sources were saying, I latched on to Kiser. I thought he would be the perfect late round ILB for Wade. Great at run defense but limited in coverage which means he's not a complete player deserving of an early round pick.
Then so many drafting sources started talking about him until I once saw him projected to go in the late 2nd. But that's too early for a non-complete ILB. I never believed he was anything more than a 4th round pick at the earliest.
Okoronkwo's fall is a little less clear to me. I think he fell for the same reason AD fell. Too short. And scouts get too caught up on that and forget the other strengths and production. But a 2 round fall? That's pretty harsh. He has the feel of a 3rd rounder to me.
A little fall made sense; I don't get the steep fall.
