I think it was great. They are a genuine set of bros.
It didn't take anything away from the broadcast.
There are probably. A few tuning in just to follow him.
I agree. Before we "move on already", how many other "handicapped" players were selected as a defensive player of the year? How many other handicapped players have been drafted by the NFL? How many have a twin that was also drafted? How many were drafted by the same team that just drafted their brother? How many African-American players have a mother AND a father in a complete family unit that raised them right... and the characters of their sons reflect that? This is NOT your average draftee.
Don't you get tired of so many negative stories and news facing us day after day? I do. This is a unique story here and a lot of positivity surrounding it. I think it's fine and dandy that they gave it some recognition. There will be thousands of people, especially young people, with similar physical circumstances who will be encouraged and inspired... but they need to know about him for that to happen. I think allowing us to see who he is and what he's about is just great!!
I agree 100%! Plus it is nice to see players that are happy to be drafted and grateful for their opportunity instead of the ones that are angry because they feel like they dropped in the draft.
