..will be watching to see how Austin does in the Cowboys offense and if Garrett & company find ways to get him the ball in space that McVay never could.
The last laugh has not yet happened in my book.
Garrett plans on using him mainly as a "back" ala Lance Dunbar when he was there and on special teams. With Zeke at RB, he won't get many carries. If he fumbles as often on ST's as he did here, he won't get many chances there either.
McVay tried him as a ST'er and he fumbled away his position to PC. McVay also used him as a RB sometimes where he was OK at best. Whether it was due to his injuries or missing time early, he was underwhelming last year. His most value was a "decoy"...exactly how McVay used him. When it comes to McVay vs Garrett when it comes to offense...I'll take McVay EVERY time and 3 times on Sunday's! I can't blame TA's failures on McVay. I can only blame TA.
TA might do well in Dallas and I hope he does but I doubt it will be due to Garrett "figuring out" how to use him better than McVay could. IMO, Garrett couldn't carry McVays jockstrap. He's too busy carrying Jerry Jones's.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
