I think the pick is ultimately irrelevant. Like Quinn and Ogletree, this is dumping past mistakes concerning the salary cap. Otherwise, probably all three are still here IMO.

I'm not so great when it comes to the effect of trades and such on the cap. Never took the time to figure it all out. What does this do via all of that?
