I do think you're probably right. Not quite as desperate at LB as all that.
I saw something regarding Ramik a while back as being the starter there in the middle.
However, as a senior football addict I continue to believe that MLB is the crucial piece in my front seven.
I'll take a smart kid in there over a rotational edge rusher.
That said, I would be surprised if their first 4 picks don't involve a lot of help at the two spots.
BTW, I like Hager, and he was not overwhelmed during his snaps. Fact is, he held up a lot better than the rest of the defense when they played the 9ers at the end.
I think we need a starter at LB and rotational guys at the edges. It's possible that they can do all that within the draft with just 3 picks.
And, I would not be surprised if the Rams cast off 2 or 3 picks in the efforts to acquire just that.
