When a consensus top 5 talent drops in the draft, it's for more than his oft-injured shoulder. There were character flags everywhere.
Last year, SF CB Trumaine Brock was charged with by the SF DA, but the charges were suddenly & mysteriously dropped, so the league took no disciplinary action. Doesn't sound like that's going to be the case here, but SF is still holding out hope, not taking any official action until the legal wrangling plays itself out.
Couldn't happen to a nicer team.
