You pick guys with the hopes two stick?

How about drafting guys...that based on scouting...can stick?

This us my problem with having lots of picks. You are drafting guys knowing your going to cut them.

Bundle the picks and trade up or get picks for next year.

Let's not of the crap shoot!!!

There is no such thing as a 6th round pick that you KNOW is going to stick.

The hit rate percentages of 6th round picks are very low. And if you bundle two, you only get a 5th which is only a little bit better in terms of percentages of being successful.

If you use them to trade up, according to the trade chart, you'd only be able to move that 3rd round pick up from 87 to about 83. That's not going to significantly increase your chances of that pick sticking.

If you're using a 6th to move up in the 4th, you can go from our 111 to the top of the 4th round, at best.

IOW, those 6ths don't have much value.

You really can't elimate the crap shoot nature of the draft for anything after a 3rd round pick.
