...and a good man. Vocal leader in the locker room, confident, humble but smart, productive (Biletnikoff Award as the nation's top receiver in 2013). Team captain in college. Confident and competitive. Has been exceptionally durable dating back to high school. He's a playmaker and will be very popular with the fans.
I see no downside to him.
No matter how you try to slice it and dice it, he's soft. Period.
Oh I expect him to get his yards and score long, fancy TD's but Smith made HUGE plays in HUGE games. And I'm not talking about just running away from guys, he made very contested catches both by his great leaping ability and by catching balls in traffic then stiff arming and running over defenders.
Smith > Cooks all day every say as a football player.
R.I.P. Nelson aka TonyHunter87 1971 - 2017 far too soon..
Your last words to me: "Your a great guy RFIP. I was very sad when you left the board, and your son, but was glad to see you back. Take care my friend, may God be by your side." 09/09/2017 12:58AM
No Nelson, you were a far better man than I, and I am sure an awesome husband and father as well. I will miss you my friend. -RFIP
