But I think for us it's as much or more important to see that we have a coaching staff in place to allow a late round pick to actually become a player over time. IMO a high pick is good enough without so much actual development at first to make some marginal impact, after that he just dwindles without development from his position coaches.
So even though we do have 3rd and down to look at this year, IMO we can upgrade those choices by having a staff that can really work with the rookies. Also I expect some trade up with a couple of those picks we have, but again having a great group of coaches IMO alleviates some of the worry of not having those high round picks. (Looking at several O-linemen with Kromer in charge of them as an example). will mean that those picked are getting the best teacher on the market to learn from.
