I'd give him a shot..

Really, the only question is liability and his plate is stronger than bone, so why not? If he was cleared medically to play, I'd sign him in a heartbeat because you KNOW he's gonna be the most motivated guy on the team.. and if he doesn't make the team, then what did you lose? At least you gave him a shot.. I'd bring him in to workout.. no question about it for me..
