I know that there are those who don't put much faith in PFF. I get that. But tyically that applies to their rankings which are based on a mysterious, subjective algorithm.
But they are really good at collecting objective data such as run stops, sacks, pressures, etc. There isn't a huge subjective element to that type of data.
So when they say that Barron is #4 amongst all LB's in run stops over the last two years, that's fairly reliable IMO.
Or when they say that Ogletree was a league leader in missed tackles - which was the reason for his low run D grade - that's fairly reliable.
