Extraordinarily happy with Sean and the offense
Amazing work by all of them.
Perhaps the most unexpected joy was the work of Robert Woods.
Twice in the Falcon game he made superb catches.
Goff threads a pass past Trufant, and Woods finds the handle
If there's a moment I'd still like to see Sean avoid? 3rd and 2 and we've just barely started to play.
Ball is just over midfield and in Falcon territory.
Run the dang ball, Sean.
Clearly, Sean is passing with all the OL in upright positions, and press coverage showing.
To me, it's prime Gurley run down. The Falcons are all over it, and take the QB down.
Run the ball.
I doubt they stuff a primed Todd Gurley.
So, as much as many superlatives I can lay at all their feet for last year, I still think they can work some advantages to old school football.
Stun them with #30 with the assured yardage, and perhaps look at very short and 4th down on the next play.
