We can pray that a quality LOT will be there at #23.
But no pundits or draft gurus that I’ve seen or heard think that one really exists in this draft, much less that he would fall to #23. No amount of posting, wishing, hoping, or praying is gonna change that.
We want a top LOT but none of value will be there. That’s our conundrum.
What to do? Take the BPA at #23 at a position of need, that’s what. What else can they do? Either take a LOT that Kromer likes later in the draft, sign a player that becomes available later via cuts, or count on moving Saffold over as a last resort.
We’ve gotta be pragmatic about the realities of LOT availability this offseason.
