Because I don't do this deal for two #1s.
And...what kind if money di you want OBJ?
This whole deal is stupid.
Let's see...Watkins for $16,000,000.
OBJ for 2 - 1s and $20,000,000.
Yeah...makes sense! ...cough cough
The 2 #1's isn't gonna happen IMO but the $20 mil might. OBJ is twice the player (I know, I know and twice the headache lol) Watkins is and therefore is worth more. Watkins was let go for a reason. Couldn't learn the offense? Didn't produce when he had to? Wasn't as "clutch" as they hoped? IDK. What I DO know is that the Rams did not see the same value in him as KC did. Watkins is all about "potential". In fact, he could be labeled "Mr. Potential". OBJ has proven how good he is. It's not even close.
There is NO DOUBT in my mind that if the Rams thought for ONE SECOND that SW was the be all end all to the success of their offense...he would be a Ram. By even considering paying OBJ the kind of money he will be asking for reaffirms that. They didn't let Mr. Potential go because they couldn't afford him or weren't willing to pay that much for a WR. They saw him EVERY day in practice and in EVERY game and also broke down the film on the guy.
Sammy is GONE. People need to accept it and move on. They will replace Mr Potential and still be successful.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
