Well said La. AD and TG were both Fisher guys, right? There are a few other very good players still on the team. Fisher deserves some of the credit. Your comment, that he couldn't do much with the talent is accurate.
That's not to take anything away from McVay.
But begrudging Fisher for just accurately pointing out that the Fisher/Snead years left McVay with a well-stocked team? That's just taking kneejerk coach bashing to its inaccurate extreme.
Of course Fisher/Snead stocked the shelves at several key positions.
Why waste energy denying it. There's no good reason to do that.
