I can only guess that through all those years of losing that he developed lots of psychological tricks to keep from despair. He sure developed lots of excuses that he used on the players and fans.

And last year claiming partial credit for the Rams newfound success was a logical extension of it.
I'm not sure if the Rams continue their success that he would think of it any differently.......in perpetuity.
