I can see the 49ers winning out on these sweepstakes.

I follow the cap pretty closely and I don't think Demoff will be able to work Goff, Donald, Gurley, OBJ, and Peters into the 2020 cap unless he's a magician.

Goff's 5th year option for that year will be at least $21M based on today's QB market. And the other 4 players all deserve to be paid at the top of their positions. It could easily be $100M for those 5 players in 2020.

They could do it for 2018 and 2019 but come 2020, it's time to pay the piper.

Is it worth giving up more valuable draft picks knowing that?
