Generally that player gets moved for the best offer, with concessions for getting him out of the division at the least. So I think you're probably going to be wrong, in that OBJ will get moved. GMs work for the owners and you don't keep your job long by tellin the owner to deal with a player he doesn't want around due to distractions or whatever.
