Im giving McVay the benefit of the doubt about Watkins. He could have kept him either by franchising him or simply paying him $16 million.
He simply didnt think he was worth that and could build a team without him.
We will see. Of course it would have been great to keep him, but the Rams wanted the money for other things. We will see what happens.
