A healthy Goff and improved Goff is the key to this team taking the next step to legitimate SB contenders. He was fine last year, but he wasn't near top tier. I understand that the Eagles won the SB with Foles, but that was a perfect storm situation. To win the big one in this league consistently you need a sustainable top tier QB. Goff isn't there yet, and thats what we need to see starting this year. He needs to be better than Andy Dalton. I'd like to see him be better than Matt Ryan. He's not there yet.
Snead and McVay went all out last year to give Goff a ton of help with a much improved OL and receiving weapons. With Watkins gone, Goff will have to do more with less. Thats the big test for him and McVay.
