Hopeful that his hamstring & wrist injuries were part of the reason for his punt muffs & lack of playing time. Always like it when a player is betting on himself by voiding the final years of a contract (albeit non guaranteed) and agrees to convert his roster salary to incentives. What could it hurt at this point ? He wont be wasting a spot on 53 if coaches don't feel he will help, because it costs nothing to waive or trade at any point. They've tried him outside and they tried him in backfield, yet his skill set appears to be slot and/or in movement early. With his quickness & speed, I just can't believe they cant get him in space beyond the D-line. he is a mismatch hell for every LB, every SS, some FS & a good number of CBs. Just doesn't make sense unless they expect him to line up stationary and get off a jam at the line, which is not his game on every level he has played. Check and see how much he was in motion at WVU
