Yeah, that’s pretty harsh, but I believe that it’s nevertheless true.

He has no position in this O. Other players are his equal or superior at each of his specialties.

But now? He could fetch a pick or maybe a player in trade. His restructured contract makes that possible, anyway.

I’m guessing that Snead is working the phones as we speak. Don’t expect much, of course. But ANYTHING right now would be preferred to carrying Tavon and wasting a valuable roster spot.
