I am bummed about losing to Cincy for Eifert as well.
Look how Sullivan worked out.... huge talent recovering from back injury was great for us last year. Eifert could have been the same for us this year. An incentive based one year contract would have been great.
With Burton, Graham, and Eifert all gone, it's hard to see where the Rams are going to find a solid upgrade to Higbee.
It's crunch time in the playoffs, 3rd and three, and Goff throws a slightly off-target contested throw to Higbee... will he come down with it?
I know we have Everett and Hemingway... but given their pursuit of both Burton and Eifert, it seems like the Rams FO was hoping to find a vet upgrade.
Need a vet with reliable hands, so that means Ebron is out (or should be). Do Bennett or Gates have anything left? Would either one be worth taking a roster spot away from either Higbee or Hemingway?
