Everyone has been saying for months they need a veteran that they are too young at TE
But they also interviewed at least 3 TE's at the Senior Bowl.
I think it's pretty clear now that they're not quite satisfied with what they have at TE.
Saw on another board that Burton said that a team with horns was going after him.
It's a 1 in 3 chance it was the Rams. Now they're a finalist for Eifert.
It's possible that they pursued vets but just struck out. So I'm sure a vet was the preference.
But how do you explain the intense scouting of rookie TE's?
