I see no problem drafting players now because IMO we have coaches who can actually develop a player from college to the pro game. ( and they will cost less over some time) Yes FA are going off the board that happens every year at this time. And I also believe they have a plan with every player they trade away. We did well last year considering it was a totally new staff (outside of Bones) and a totally new scheme all around. IMO they are going to stage 2 of the long range plan.
Everyone going big today has reasons for doing so....they are playing from behind, trying to catch up. (for the most part).
