I'm saying that Riddley, to me, is not a 1st round WR talent in a better WR year (not impressed at all with the WRs this year). Or if he is, he is in the bottom 3 or 4 picks of the 1st round. In other words, I see him as a top of the 2nd round value.
And I'm saying that Riddley just doesn't bring enough value at WR to be a 1st rounder.
We see this every year. Last year is one of the better examples when the top 1st round WRs couldn't hold a candle to the production of WRs taken later.
It's always speed that intoxicates. I could care less if a guy runs a 4.3 40. That is like making "canon arm" the best characteristic of a QB when in fact it is well down the list in practice.
The best WRs in history and in the game today are not speed merchants. Brown is only a 4.55 guy for instance.
