I don't think anyone is criticizing the trade...

it's what we did with the trade.

Since some don't like the fact that we are criticizing what we did with the trade, then they say "Well...look at Washington's side!" or "Would we have been better off doing nothing?"

Those statements/questions have zero to do with the discussion.
