For those who say is was bad, are you attacking to trade or the picks from the trade?
Had we stayed at #2 who would we have taken that would please you?
Justin Blackmon? Trent Richardson, Matt Kalil?
The best player in the whole draft was Luke Kuechly, we could have taken him #2
The trade was smart and the trade downs were smart
The picks, in terms of Pead and others, sure, you can rip all you want, some were bad. Others good. But I have seen several posts on how bad the deal was but won;t clarify what they mean. Surely they are not suggesting we should have taken RGIII
Maybe the best scenario would have been not to trade at all and taken Kuechley and Wagner. That would have upgraded the LBers to All_pro level, maybe we could have traded away J-Lau
But then it would have been over...not DT, no CB and so on...
The trade was good, but Robinson busting out and the other busts taint the trade but it was the right move at the time.
