Wade is known for preferring inexpensive ILB’s while putting emphasis on Rush LB’s and secondaries. So you may be onto something there, Rock.
I’ve read that this draft is rich in ILB prospects that should be available later in the draft.
Plus a sprinkling of FA’s that would fit Wade’s D to a tee.
I don’t see a Bowman, Matthews, or Cushing in our future. Probably younger and more affordable non-household names will be brought in.
Our draft gurus can name names, I’m sure.
And who knows? Wade might be high on some of our current LB’s, too.
