There are a lot of good deals out there: Lynch from the 49 er's is a really good outside presence on defense who will probably command 4-5 mil a year, Navarro Bowman with the Raiders lb last year for 6 mil and he still is better than anything we had in the middle. I would pursue a 1 year deal with Cushing who was making 6 mil and would love Clay if he is available. Jon Bostic in the middle is available for 5-7 mil.
I will be totally honest, I thought we were stuck with the AO contract, if you look at the Giants blog that is one of the things they are talking about is what he costs against the cap. Demoff has made some really bad contracts, Why would you extend TA and for that much? Quinn made more than Clay Mathews, Michael Bennett? AO was a great teammate but is not a MLB or IB he can not shed blocks! Barron, who I like, is stealing from the team (pertaining to his contract vs value).
