They picked 3 Good to very good starters: Jenkins, Ogletree, and Brockers.
They got good play from those 3 for a number of years, plus they got a 3rd, 4th, and 6th when Jenkins and Tree left.
The biggest whiff was obviously Robinson (who they got a 6th for)....then Pead. Bailey showed some promise, but off field issues derailed him. Watkins/Stacy were 6th round picks (10-15% chance of making it). No team hits on all their picks....if you hit on half you're lucky.
If you base an evaluation of a trade on players not being on the team anymore....then every trade is a failure eventually.
If that's a failed trade, how's it look from the Washington side?
