I agree with your stance on integrity Rock. But whether or not McDaniels is unethical (he is), I think the rule change makes sense for both teams and coaches. I bet the old rule has at times limited the opportunities for coaches on playoff teams over the years. And of course teams will be protected now as you know McDaniels wouldn't be the last one to renege on a verbal agreement. All IMO of course.
