It's the idea that let's not make it bigger than it REALLY is.

I agree that even though you get to go watch a player run some routes or catch some balls............There's no guarantee that he will be a great Pro Football Player.

So, when it's all said and done........The Combine simply allows Coaches and Players to come together in one stadium at the same time, like a meet and greet function.
