Here's another: Donte Montcrief. When Luck was throwing to him, he had over 700 yards and 6 TDs.
I can't say it any clearer: it's an issue of money vs. production. You can ascribe everything you want to to Watkins. But 500+ yards is simply not going to cut it for a guy you apparently are willing to pay elite level WR money to if necessary.
But, we'll soon know which one of us is right. Is Watkins going to price himself out of the Rams willingness to pay? Or will he take a Robert Woods level contract?
Or are the Rams willing to pay him elite WR money believing that his production will greatly increase next year.
I give it 60/40 that he's a goner.
