I agree with all of this (well except the heifers thing. i dont really know anything about that)
That being said...i think they will go after 1 cb and a nt in free agency plus a cb in the 1st. im starting to warm to the idea of talib because if i remember correctly he would not count in the calculation of compensatory picks (cuz hes a cut, not a fa). so we should be able to pick up a third in 2019. which fa and draftees do you think fit the rams?
in terms of the nt position, the rams have (or will have) alot of money invested in brockers and donald so i think they may go value here. id like to see them go after beau allen from philly for a number of reasons.
1. hes 6 3, 330
2. hes under the radar but played roughly 50 percent of the snaps in a very good run defense behind 2 very good tackles
3. eagles are over the cap so its unlikely htey can retain him
4. he will be looking for a chance to start
5. he was in a 4-3 in philly, but has experience in a 3-4 from wisconsin.
6. hes only 26
in any event, kinda like robert woods last year hes an underrated young guy with upside. he may not be a star but could be a key cog on that line.

I have been saying all along that if 1 of the 2 NTs fall, they may be too tempting to pass on. If you have been reading me.
Da'Ron Payne and Vita Vea are both NTs that would fit exactly what the Rams are missing. A NT that not only can take up spacem but has the ablity to push the pocket. I will stand by my comment 3 months ago that Payne may be one of the strongest DT to come out in a while. I guess the combine might prove me right or wrong if bench pressing 225 is what determines that.
Vea is a freak of nature. I usually don't try to get into hyperbole, but watch his bowl game. You will see him make an OPEN FIELD TACKLE on the punt returner. At 350 lbs. He beat everyone down the field and a 200 lb returner couldn't juke him.
They are long gone though. Get yourself mentally prepared for a CB, until I tell you otherwise. LOL.
PS, never buy bred heifers, they calve at the worst possible times.
