and we now have the coach of the year
I'm gonna focus on our current coach <shrug>
Well, i dont think posting that article is "piling on." I mean it 'is' an interesting "Question". Ie, Fisher and Offense.
We know Fisher 'didnt' put together a "topnotch offense" in any of his five years with the Rams. But what factors went into that?
How much of that is on Fisher and how much of it was because of factors beyond his control.
I think its a difficult question. I go back and forth on all kinds of narratives, myself.
In my gut i think Fisher had a lot to do with the offensive failure, but i cant quite put my finger on the 'why' of it. For me, i think it has a lot to do with the personnel he picked, (Britt, Quick, Tavon) but I'm not sure.
Its a heated/difficult topic -- but it doesnt 'have' to be. It 'could' be an interesting 'exploration' if posters would lighten up about differences-of-opinion on it.....
