Few people here have any time for either team and I *think* there is a bit of unconscious jealousy creeping in.
Somebody said defenses are becoming irrelevant.
Yet the Eagles got to the Super Bowl with the equal tied least amount of points given up in the playoffs since its inception.
It's also interesting that the 2 teams with the best D's in the NFC were ranked #1 and 2.
And that a defensive strip sack is what pretty much iced the game.
Plus a defensive hit (albeit a bit illegal) that took the Pats top WR out of the game.
As a Brit I'm used to seeing 1-0 wins and thinking they were great games and sometimes that's the case, but I tend to remember the 4-3 wins more clearly.
This game had everything other than a constant stifling defense.
