Pretty sure you, and for sure Ramsrule, ScRAM, HNB, Ram23, Aries, were all on those boards before I was. In the beginning I was on the Compuserve Board which was not broken up by team - the entire NFL had one board.
When I moved on from Compuserve and found this board, or it's ancestor, I can remember there was another "JamesJM" and I couldn't get that nickname so I went by "Gorn"... but not for long. The other JamesJM left and I took possession. This was long before the "Herd", however. I don't know which board it was for sure but some of the Herd were there.. probably the PD Board.
As you can tell my memory isn't what it used to be... or maybe it never was.... but I can recall almost every thread of that 99' season.Remember me and RFL exhibiting our phobia's about the Vikes?
I also remember the Vikes fans avalanche attacking the board before the playoff game. One repeated theme: gimmick offenses can only take you so far. Me being me I would patiently explain it was a Coryell offense, not a gimmick, and had roots. Pearls before swine.
