He HAS to start taking shots down field. He just has not been reliable when needed to get down field quickly. Take that last 4th down pass....Under thrown. SHOULD have been a easy TD. Just like Goff, this was Bortles first year with a good team around him. I think he will get better.
I agree the ball was slightly underthrown, but Bortles threw the ball running forward. That's the most difficult pass to throw when on the move. Overall, he played a pretty good game.
The Pats won because they stopped the run in the 2nd half and have arguably the GOAT QB.
