Just go back and look at their scoring defense rankings. Top ten in all but one year in the past 12 years or so, last time I looked at it. Just ridiculous consistency year to year.
Everyone acts like it's Brady, and he's part of it of course, but their defense is always overlooked. Belichick's been dumbin down greater offenses and rosters for so many years man, all the way back to when he was doing it for Parcells as DC. That Super Bowl win vs the Bills where the Giants IMO beat a better team was hauntingly similar to the one in 2001 against our Rams.
