This is why I blogged about trusting Snead. I think he over payed Tree, I can not defend the TA contract, he is not a shrewd business man.
Believe me I do not want the second coming of John (Snow) Shaw but he is terrible as far as a contract negotiater. Example: we have AD coming up and I bet Snead gives him a Suh like contract that severely limits our ability to (re)sign future players.
Isn't Demoff the contract guy, not Snead?
Anyway, there's one common denominator in Tree's, Barrons's and TA's contracts ... Fisher. I'm only speculating but I think that Fisher had some heavy influence on those contracts and persuaded Demoff to give those guys those contracts. Again, IMO.
