It's tragic what the game does to players. A few years ago, I wouldn't have traded Quinn for any defensive player in the league, including Watt. I thought he was the best DE in the league, easily, and with upside. Today? I don't know what he is. He's not really that "old," at 28 for next season. But injuries have taken their toll.
I'm hoping they find a way to keep him, perhaps at a reduced salary, and play him all year like they played him against SF. Basically, in obvious passing situations. Stranger things have happened, but he could get them double-digit sacks, even with reduced total snaps.
It's all about health, and the obvious stuff about teammates doing their part too, etc.
