Go back and watch the Falcon game again .... the two fumbles and the quick 13-0 whole didn't allow for the run game to get going. Then the second half after two long drives by Falcons we were down 26-13
by the time we had our third possession there was only 5:49 left in the game....that's crazy.
Not exactly conducive to ground and pound game plan.
Two turnovers, no takeaways and a 37:38 to 22:22 TOP deficit were the story...not running the ball was way down on my list of what went wrong.
Not saying McVay is perfect, there is plenty for him to work on.....good thing about McVay is there is no one on this board harder on him them himself. He will figure out what he needs to get better at and quickly fix it.
